Fall Clean-up Day

A BIG thank you to the following individuals/families who volunteered at Park Clean up day last weekend on 10/15/22:

Sean & Tyler Crane, Bruce Barcic, Bruce Hall, Steve & Sharon Maloney, Greg Reinheimer, Norb Kuta, Jason & Charlie Hockenberry, Robby Greenberger, Shawn Buys, Dave Fisher, Pat & Michelle Crawley, Rocco Mercurio, Kodi Mooney, Chris & Vicki Klacik, Sherrill Shepler, Kelly Moyers & family, Jonathan, Nicki & Sam Wooding, Cristin Goss & family, Amber Hartung, and Tristan, Teresa &Rory Lucchetti.

We had total of 27 people collectively give 117 hours to drag logs and brush to the dumpster in the lower meadow. Six Maple trees were planted (donated by Sean Crane) along the path and many ferns were planted by Amber Hartung and Steve Maloney (donated by Amber). Our younger volunteers stepped up in a big way to collect tree limbs, pick up litter and wheelbarrow miscellaneous debris down the path. A special thank you to Sean Crane for providing the use of his heavy equipment, Bruce Barcic for the use of his truck, and Bruce Hall for bringing his chain saw. A thank you also goes out to Trader Joe's for providing salad, mandarins, and water bottles towards the full lunch that was prepared for our volunteers. AND a thank you to the Earth Volunteer Fund for covering the majority cost of our dumpster.

OUR park is looking beautiful once again, thanks to the efforts of the above and to all who donate financially to the park.

Consider joining us in the Spring for our next park clean-up!
